“Heist at Vancouver Store: Thieves Snatch Rare Pokémon Cards Worth Thousands!”

In the heart of Vancouver’s Dunbar neighborhood, a daring heist recently took place at the Royal Card Shop and Collectibles. Thieves targeted the store in the early hours of the morning, making off with a valuable haul of Pokémon cards.

The Vancouver Police Department is now on the case, responding swiftly to the break-in that occurred near Dunbar Street and West 27th Avenue. According to investigators, the culprits, wearing masks, forcibly entered the store by prying open the rear door. They then used a stolen Ford pickup truck to extract a safe filled with the coveted trading cards.

Fortunately, the stolen vehicle was recovered in Surrey later that morning, abandoned but still running. Police are now examining the truck for any potential forensic evidence that could lead to the apprehension of the thieves.

Surveillance footage released by the VPD captures the brazen thieves in action, as they enter the store clad in all-black attire and load the valuable merchandise onto their getaway vehicle.

This incident adds to a string of similar thefts involving high-value Pokémon cards in the Lower Mainland this year, raising concerns among collectors and businesses alike.

If you have any information or footage related to this crime, the VPD urges you to contact their Property Crime tip line at 604-717-0610.
