Get ready for some road closures in Montreal this weekend as Transport Quebec gears up for repair work.
This weekend, Highway 40 and the Saint-Michel Boulevard interchange will experience closures to address concrete slab repairs. The Highway 40 exit ramp 75 — leading to Highway 19 north, St-Michel Blvd., and Papineau Ave. — will be closed from 10 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Monday.
In addition, sections of the westbound Crémazie Boulevard will have one lane closed between Highway 16 and 1 Avenue from 11 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Monday. The entrances to Highway 40 from Pie-IX and Saint-Michel boulevards will also be closed an hour earlier.
Moreover, 2nd Avenue will be off-limits under Highway 40 during the same period.
Transport Quebec reminds drivers that the schedule may change due to weather conditions or other factors, so it’s advisable to check Québec 511 before heading out.
