Authorities have pressed charges against a man for allegedly posting online death threats aimed at Prime Minister Mark Carney. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) announced that 45-year-old Ousmane Bah from Quebec City faces charges for making threats on Facebook and inciting hatred towards a specific group.
The investigation into this matter commenced on July 6, leading to Bah’s court appearance on September 24. He is currently being held in custody pending his next court date scheduled for October 1.
