Today marks the 30th day of the provincial election campaign in Quebec, with political party leaders actively engaging in campaign efforts.
The Coalition Avenir Québec, Quebec Liberal Party, Québec solidaire, Parti Québécois, and Conservative Party of Quebec are all vying to capture the attention and support of voters leading up to the Oct. 5 election.
During the campaign trail, key focuses have been on immigration and artificial intelligence, with leaders addressing these critical issues. Liberal Leader Charles Milliard criticized PQ Leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon for his proposed significant reduction in the number of immigrants, arguing it could have negative consequences for Quebec.
St-Pierre Plamondon, on the other hand, continued his campaign with various meetings, including a visit to Montreal City Hall where he had discussions with Mayor Soraya Martinez Ferrada.
As the election day approaches, advance polls are set to open for two days starting this Sunday.
