The National Assembly’s Ethics Commissioner is recommending an $8,000 penalty for MNA Sona Lakhoyan Olivier for holding partisan activities for the Quebec Liberal Party in her constituency office in Chomedey.
Commissioner Ariane Mignolet’s report was tabled in Parliament on Thursday.
The Commissioner concluded that the MNA used her office resources for the leadership campaign of former leader Pablo Rodriguez.

The office became the headquarters for partisan activities carried out by the Chomedey riding association of the party, and staff members were actively mobilized.
