A tragic incident unfolded in Etobicoke early Saturday as a man was discovered dead following reports of a fire at a residence.
Emergency responders, including firefighters, police, and paramedics, rushed to a home on Moynes Avenue in Toronto after receiving the call around 12:25 a.m. The victim was found inside the property by the firefighters who then handed him over to the paramedics.
While three other individuals were assessed at the scene, they did not require hospitalization. The circumstances surrounding the fire remain unclear at this time.
Toronto Fire Services Chief Jim Jessop is expected to provide updates on the situation later in the morning.
