“Unprovoked Skateboard Attack at Marpole Bus Stop: VPD Launches Manhunt for Suspect”

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) is actively investigating a disturbing incident that occurred at a bus stop in the Marpole area on July 7. According to authorities, a man waiting for his bus on Southwest Marine Drive and Ash Street was the victim of an unprovoked assault involving a longboard-style skateboard.

The victim was approached from behind by a male suspect who proceeded to push him and forcibly remove his headphones. Shockingly, the suspect then proceeded to physically assault the victim using the longboard-style skateboard, causing the victim to sustain minor injuries to his forearm.

In a swift response, the victim managed to escape the scene and promptly contacted 911 for assistance. The VPD has taken the matter seriously and has released a cellphone photo of the suspect in hopes of gathering more information about the perpetrator.
